Model Of The Month (August 2010)
Marcus Hill
The incredible Marcus Hill. Born in Los Angeles, Marcus is a former professional football player and graduate of Angelo State University (Texas) where he earned a degree in Physical Education. I met Marcus in early 2003 at a celebrity gathering in Los Angeles where I approached him about being a model. Even though he had the physique of a professional football player, I thought his face was very unique, edgy and beautiful. The only problem at that moment was that he was just too damn big! LOL I sat and talked with Marcus, and he was willing to lose the muscle to get into the fashion world.
I believed in Marcus just like I believe in anyone else. He is a dreamer. And what I love about him most is that he acts on his dreams and puts them in motion. After a year went by, Marcus and I became good friends, and I started seeing the weight drop. He was very focused on becoming a top model. So after he lost all the weight I took him into Wilhelmina LA and in his first week he booked Abercrombie & Fitch, shooting with the famous Bruce Weber for the 2005 Rising Stars Campaign. And then the fashion ball started to roll. From Bruce Weber to Richard Phibbs to Arthur Elgort, Marcus immediately began shooting with legendary photographers. Marcus is now repped by Major Model Management NYC (Mother Agency), MC2 Miami, LA Models, and NTA Talent in Los Angeles. His credentials are stated below.
