Q: Tell us who is Karl Simone?
KS: was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, moved to Miami in the early 90’s (most of which I don’t remember…lol), moved permanently to NYC in 2000.
Q: What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?
KS: I love what I do and am very thankful that I continue to get to do it for a living. I get inspired by the simplest things and unfortunately its usually in the middle of the night and I have to wake up and write stuff down…I think it’s the Gemini in me!
Q: If you were a reincarnation of someone or something what or who would it be?
KS: reincarnation??? Probably a cat…self sufficient and chill, just eat and sleep…oh wait, I do that now!
Q: Your most marked characteristic?
KS: being a photographer of course…and not a retoucher that takes pictures…but we won’t get into that!
Q: When and where were you happiest?
KS: I think happiness is all relative and happens on different levels throughout your life. I mean, I was happy in college, but then who isn’t??? Great
